Tennis

Tennis is a sports discipline played on a tennis court, which consists of piercing a ball with a tennis racket above or next to the net to the opponent's field. It can be played singly (so-called single) or in two-player teams of one sex (doubles) or both (mixed). Tennis belonged to the group of summer Olympic disciplines in the years 1896–1924. It returned to their program in 1988.
