Javelin throw is a sport competition that is part of athletics and comes from ancient times.It belongs to technical competition. Athletes compete in the javelin throw during the Olympic Games (men since 1908 and women since 1932), European championships, world championships and numerous athletics meetings. Javelin throw is also played as part of the competition in heptathlon and decathlon.
