Hosszú
Katinka is the most famous Hungarian swimmer, the Olympic champion
who has won the Olympic Games three times, who has won the World
Championship nine times and she has won the European Championship
fourteen times.
She
is the first swimmer who broke the records in all strokes (200 m,
400 m, short distance: 100 m, 200 m, 400 m).
Between
1996 and 2002 she lived and studied in Baja. After taking her school
leaving exams in 2008 she started studying at University of Southern
California. In 2012 she graduated as a psychologist.
Katinka
founded the Iron Swim Club in 2018. A lot of good swimmers have their
trainings here. The Iron Swim swimming school is for youngsters,
teenagers and adults.
