Discus throw

Discus throw is one of the technical athletics competition consisting in throwing the arm by force (with one hand) of the disk over the longest possible distance. The projection takes place from a 2.5 m diameter circle surrounded by a 4 m high protective mesh and an outlet from the front of 6 m. For the projection to be valid, the disk must fall in a section of the wheel with an angle of 40 degrees. The disk weighs two kilograms for men and one kilogram for women.
